Are your strings really wax-less?

Yes, our strings are 100% wax-less. Wax collects dust & grime that can get into your cam tracks/rollers & cause premature abrasion to your string. The wax-less fiber holds up very well in all temps and climates. It does especially well at resisting moisture. You do not need to apply wax to UnBound strings ever. Wax is for candle making!

What warranty do you offer?

We offer a 1-year warranty against serving separation & peep rotation.

Which direction will your strings cause my arrow to spin?

Since we twist clockwise, your arrow will naturally spin left. You can still fletch left or right helical without seeing any changes in performance.

How long will my strings last?

Strings are a consumable product just like the tires on your vehicle. Eventually they will need replaced. Generally, our strings will last several thousand shots. There are a lot of factors that can influence the longevity of your strings. How you store your bow, how you transport your bow, If you have facial hair, if you live in specific climates, & so on. Heavy abrasion/ fiber break-down is a good indicator that your strings are ready to be replaced.

What color combos should I avoid?

There isn’t a color or combo that provides any better “performance” than others. As for visual aesthetics, there are things to consider with color combos. We use a serving material that is semitransparent (especially with the brighter colors) & this can cause some color mixing. Think of it like paint, if you put a layer of black paint down & let it dry, then put a layer of orange on top, the black would really dull out the orange color. For color combos we recommend the lighter of the combos to be the fiber & darker to be the serving.

Are speed nocks included?

Yes, if the specs call for speed nocks, we include them.

How long is your break-in period?

With the combo of our fiber choices, & how we stretch our strings, there really isn’t a “Break-in period”. Since the strings are bent to fit inside of an envelope for shipping, we just recommend a few shots so that the servings can conform to the cam bends and grooves. Our strings are known to be rock solid with no movement.

Can I make special requests?

Yes! that is one of the best parts about being a CUSTOM string builder, we can change nearly anything. If you would like to request a specific nock fit, add it to the notes section.
